AMHERST, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OrthoLite®, the global leader of branded, high-performance, comfort footwear solutions, appoints Pankaj Kumar as Commercial Director for OrthoLite India (OIN). In this new role, Kumar will promote and expand OIN's commercial activity with a focus on providing comfort solutions and delivering OrthoLite’s high standards to its global brand partners manufacturing in India.
Kumar brings a wealth of experience spanning over 27 years. He has a proven track record in sales and marketing, P&L management, strategic planning, business development, distribution channel management, trade promotion, and the development of innovative business models.

Kumar joins the OrthoLite India team in the newly expanded, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ambur, Tamil Nadu India, which enables increased capacity to two million pairs of insoles per month. It also bolsters OrthoLite’s leatherwork capabilities as OIN is now fully equipped to make leather footbeds. The new facility catalyzes local-for-local production and service, and makes OrthoLite India the largest insole manufacturer in South Asia.
Sixty-six of OrthoLite’s 500+ global brand partners produce in India, and the region represents part of OrthoLite’s global production strategy to align its factories and provide efficient and exemplary service directly to local partners and T1s.
